A prayer for Marriages

MARRIAGESDear Heavenly Father, the God who created everything and for your pleasure they are created. We approach your mercy throne with confidence knowing that you hear and answer prayers. There is no other God beside you Lord and for this we praise your holy name. We come to you today placing all marriages in your holy hands.

You are the one who ordains marriages and have set an example for us to follow in Genesis 1 which states: “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply.” With this confidence we know Lord that you have placed a man and a woman together in holy matrimony.

Your words also declares that what you have put together let no man put asunder, so we pray for the marriages, that you intervene, cut a clear every fruit that is not of you in these marriages and let only your will be seen in them. We pray that unconditional love will abide, we pray that understanding will abide, we prayed that peace will be in these homes, we pray that you be a fence around these marriages every day.

Heavenly Father, your word declares that an excellent wife is the crown of her husband, and that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. So Father, we ask you to bless these marriages, let them find favor in you. Give them the desire Lord to love, honor and obey each other. Give them the strength to uphold each other in times of trouble and despair. Give them the knowledge and wisdom to deal with situations wisely when they arise.

Holy Father, we pray from you words today, allow each wife to submit to her own husband, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. We pray God that each husband loves his wife, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Help the husbands to realize as your word states that he who loves his wife loves himself.

Give the husbands grace to live with their wives in an understanding way, showing honor to them as they weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life. Father, we give you thanks as we place these marriages into your hands and we praise you Lord for answering this prayer in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hearing from God

Hearing from the LordPrayer is a dialog between the believer and God. It’s a two way communication that involves both talking and listening. That’s the kind of prayer relationship God wants from us. When Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice”, he meant that people who are truly believers recognize and respond to his voice.

They are constantly tuned in to him and ready to respond to his call. That’s the kind of listening that prayer requires.Prayer is all about hearing our Shepherd’s voice. In fact, when we pray, it’s probably more important to listen than to speak. After all, God has far more to say than you or I do. Before rushing into God’s presence with your thoughts and needs, be attentive to what God is trying to tell you.Hearing God also means a readiness to obey.

God does not speak just to give people a chance to decide if they want to obey. God speaks to those who take him seriously and who stand ready to respond to whatever he says. When listening, be sure that the voice you hear is the Shepherd’s. There are other voices clamoring for attention – the voice of the evil one, the voices of the world, and the inner voices of your own selfish desires.

The better you know the Shepherd, the more sure you will be of his voice. If you are unsure, ask Jesus to open your ears to his voice and to close your ears to the misleading voices of the enemy. He will be more than happy to do that.

The Shepherd is eager for you to hear his voice! Are you eager to listen?

Way to Salvation

God's Gift To You
Salvation is a gift that is made available to those who repent, believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10) and is coming back again to receive His church (bride) unto Himself.

This gift cannot be earned through good deeds or by simply being "good" (Ephesians 2:8; 1 Timothy 1:9). It is a matter of faith (acting out on what you believe according to God's Word concerning salvation). If you have come here looking for a change in your life, if you have come seeking a peace that is found only through a personal relationship with a loving God, then you are at the right place. God is ready and willing to help you—right now, and right where you are.

Here are Five Steps To Salvation

1. Acknowledge your condition
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags…" (Isaiah 64:6).
2. Repent; be sorry, turn away from your sinful ways
"Unless you repent, you too will all perish" (Luke 13:3)."Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins will be wiped out" (Acts 3:19).
3. Confess your sins
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9)."If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
4. Believe in Jesus"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John3:16)"Whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved; but whoever does not believe will be condemned". (Mark 16:16)"...Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved..." (Acts 16:31)
5. Receive and accept Him and His WordHe came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John1:11,12)
Why not make your eternal decision now!
Why don't you do it today?
Right now at this moment acknowledge to Him that you're a sinner and
lost without Him, and ask Him to forgive you and to come into your
life as your Lord and Savior.Start today to experience the most
precious free gift you will ever receive.
If you accept the free gift he offers you - the gift he bought and
paid for on the cross - then you can have a wonderful now in him an
incredible, unimaginable future for all eternity with Him. All you
have to do is accept it.
Awesome, isn't it?"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

Simply Pray This Prayer:Heavenly Father, I recognize and admit that I am a sinner. I turn away from my sins, confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord. I believe that He lived, died and was raised from the dead for my salvation. I now forsake my way and follow yours. I open my heart and I receive you, Jesus, as my personal Lord and Savior. I now believe you have taken away my sins, and Lord, thank You for saving me this day. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
